Happy Lion’s Gate season! Admittedly, numerology has never really resonated with me, but this year’s 8/8 Portal felt especially auspicious. ✨

Riding off the wave of some timely inspiration (some of which y’all will see in the coming months) and fresh out of my second trimester of acupuncture school, here’s a short and sweet newsletter to help draw in some more magic and manifestation for the remainder of this Lion’s Gate and Leo season.

Leo and Lion’s Gate Season

Lion’s Gate occurs when the Sun in Leo is in alignment with the star Sirius (the brightest star visible at night), Orion’s Belt (a constellation), and Earth (you are here!). This is a 2 week event starting from the end of July until mid August. Lion’s Gate peaks on August 8th (8/8), which is commonly referred to as the Lion’s Gate Portal. This date is known as the galactic New Year and is traditionally an auspicious time due to the significance of the number 8. Falling in the middle of the astrological and Gregorian year, it’s an excellent time to receive inspiration for the remainder of the year.
